A Cooperative of Professionals
Our company is based on expertise and joint ownership. Our owners are ELT professionals highly skilled in the various functions required to publish effective learning programs: authors, editors, designers, artists, producers, videographers, technologists, and sales and marketing professionals. All know their field well and are directly motivated to do their best work. They are responsible and accountable to our users, themselves, and each other.
Our Name
Aventure is inspired by the Prologue of The Canterbury Tales by Chaucer:
“… a compaignye
Of sondry folk, by áventure y-falle
In felaweshipe …”
Áventure is Middle English for “adventure,” and we believe that life is an adventure that we “sondry folk” are on together.
Our goal is to help learners to make the most of this adventure. Our programs are a launching point.
